Lisa Maloney

Lisa Maloney is the current President of Australian Dance Adjudicators, being elected by her peers in 2017 after spending 8 years as the Secretary of the Association. As an adjudicator Lisa has been able to witness the ever-evolving changes in dance. A dedicated dancer and teacher, Lisa is trained in classical ballet, jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance but her passion is with tap dancing. Her career has seen her perform on various TV shows and other live performances throughout Sydney. As a teacher, Lisa has put numerous students through exams in all facets with outstanding results and has created routines that have placed at multiple competitions, both locally and inter-state. A highlight of her teaching career was travelling overseas with her students to perform in a charity event raising funds for local charities. As a dancer, teacher, “dance mum” and adjudicator, Lisa is very aware of all that goes into a performance and looks forward to sharing her knowledge with all performers so that they can continue to develop in their dancing journey. Lisa is very pleased to be invited to adjudicate at the Wollongong Eisteddfod in 2021.
