Lesly Stevenson

Lesly Stevenson aims to excel in the performing arts industry as a professional adjudicator and teacher and to convey her knowledge and experience to students enabling them to excel and enjoy their talent and passion in The Arts. Her qualifications include being an LGTDA syllabus teacher trained by Les Griffith, a qualified singing teacher through Trinity College, an examiner of tap, jazz, classical ballet, singing, drama and musical theatre and she is a full member of the Australian Adjudicators Association. Her experience and skills are extensive as she has been an owner / operator of the Dance and Performing Arts Academy on Beaumont (DAPA) and a qualified teacher across a wide range of performance disciplines. Whist at DAPA Lesly has been hands on as director / producer of many shows including musicals, comedies, dramas and concert performances. Lesly has also been a stage actress, singer and dancer and won Conda awards for best actress in a musical and for her achievement in Newcastle theatre. Not only has she undertaken many Eisteddfod adjudication roles in Sydney, other parts of New South Wales and in Queensland she is a recognised international prize winning artist. She is very much looking forward to coming to the 2018 Wollongong Eisteddfod.
