Grant Dale

Grant Dale has over thirty years of experience in the performing arts. He has performed in shows such as EVITA, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, GUYS AND DOLLS, A CHORUS LINE, ANYTHING GOES and BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL. His worked in the support act for Sammy Davis Jnr’s Australian tour, television variety shows, TV commercials and film. Grant’s choreographic work includes the film, MAD MAX; Graeme Base’s musical, THE SIGN OF THE SEAHORSE, for Playbox Theatre Company (for which he was nominated for a Green Room award); and corporate entertainment. He worked for ten years on AFL Grand Final ceremonies as production assistant. Grant has received the theatre gypsy cloak award twice (awarded to the most experienced member of a musical ensemble). He has extensive experience in Dance and Theatre Arts teaching and has extensive adjudication experience. He has taught classes and workshops across Australia, including for Ballarat University performing arts program, and has mentored student choreographers at University of Melbourne. Grant is very pleased to have been invited to Wollongong to adjudicate in 2017.
