Christine Logan

Dr Christine Logan is a Senior Lecturer in Music in the School of the Arts and Media at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. She has performed, broadcast and recorded as piano soloist, duo-pianist, chamber musician and fortepianist throughout Australia and in the USA and Canada. With pianist Julie Adam, she recorded the complete duo piano music of Frank Martin for ABC Classics. A contributor to the Revised New Grove, Oxford Music Online, she has published articles and book chapters on various aspects of Australian music, the piano music of Frank Martin, Beethoven, Gabriel Fauré and Messiaen. She is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium., University of Sydney (BMus, MMus Hons) and received the Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Cincinnati, USA where she studied piano with the renowned Hungarian pianist, Béla Siki. Christine is delighted to be adjudicating at the 125th Wollongong Eisteddfod in 2019.
